The Yamaha Pacifica 012 Vintage White electric guitar features the same double-cutaway body design that made the Pacifica 112 famous. In the technical specifications, the body shape is described as Modern ST. Additionally, the instrument is a solid-body design. These features clearly define the guitar’s basic shape and make it easily recognizable within the Pacifica series.

The combination of the Modern ST body shape and solid-body construction forms the structural foundation of the Yamaha Pacifica 012 Vintage White electric guitar. Especially for those looking for an electric guitar with the classic Pacifica shape and clearly defined features, this model offers a well-defined design. The Vintage White finish complements the design with a clearly defined aesthetic.

Neck and Fretboard

The neck of the Yamaha Pacifica 012 Vintage White electric guitar is made of maple. The neck is bolt-on, which is one of the instrument’s clearly defined design features. This combination of a maple neck and bolt-on construction fits seamlessly into the guitar’s straightforward design and makes its basic construction easy to understand.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features white dot inlays. It also features 22 frets and a scale length of 25.5" or 648 mm. These specifications round out the technical profile of the Yamaha Pacifica 012 Vintage White electric guitar in terms of the neck and fretboard and provide a clear overview of its key design features.

HSS pickup configuration for rock and pop

A key feature of the Yamaha Pacifica 012 Vintage White electric guitar is its H-S-S pickup configuration. The instrument features 1 humbucker and 2 single-coil pickups. Specifically, it features a Yamaha single-coil pickup in the neck position, a Yamaha single-coil pickup in the middle position, and a Yamaha humbucker in the bridge position. Combined with the 5-way pickup selector switch, this configuration delivers the hottest sounds in the rock and pop scene.

The pickups are passive. The electronics are complemented by 1 volume control and 1 tone control. This keeps the controls on the Yamaha Pacifica 012 Vintage White electric guitar clearly structured and easy to use. If you’re looking for an electric guitar with a straightforward HSS configuration and simple controls, this is a precisely tailored solution.
