Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black Electric Guitar

Are you looking for a left-handed electric guitar with a modern chambered body, powerful humbuckers, and clearly defined features? Then the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black Electric Guitar is an interesting choice for anyone looking for a modern double-cutaway guitar with a versatile tone and precisely defined features. The new Revstar series consists of three models: Element, Standard, and the Made-in-Japan Professional. All models feature a “chambered” body developed using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process.

Using advanced measurement techniques, Yamaha developed the chamber pattern to specifically shape the tone and increase resonance, while simultaneously reducing weight and optimizing balance. The Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E guitar is designed as a left-handed model and combines these very design features with two Alnico V humbuckers, a push/pull high-pass filter, and clearly structured hardware. The result is an instrument with a modern focus and clearly defined technical specifications.

Chambered mahogany body and Revstar construction

The Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E-guitar features a mahogany body with hollow chambers. This chambered construction is one of the instrument’s key features and is central to the Revstar series. According to the description, the body is designed to enhance tone and resonance, reduce weight, and optimize balance. This model offers a compelling foundation, especially for players looking for a lightweight and well-engineered instrument with a modern design.

The color is black, complementing the design with a clearly defined aesthetic. The description also highlights that the RSE20 offers five Café Racer-inspired finish options. Black is listed as the color option for this model. Thus, the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E-guitar is described precisely and objectively in terms of both its construction and its appearance.

Neck and Fretboard

The neck of the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E guitar is made of 3-piece mahogany. This material specification is one of the clearly stated design features of the instrument and complements the mahogany body well. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and, together with the neck, forms the clearly defined foundation for the model’s playing characteristics.

Added to this are a fingerboard radius of 12" (304.8 mm), a nut width of 41.9 mm, 22 jumbo frets, and a scale length of 629 mm. These specifications complete the technical profile of the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E-guitar in terms of the neck and fretboard. Anyone looking for a left-handed electric guitar with precisely specified dimensions and materials will find a clearly described solution here.

Alnico V Humbuckers and Dry Switch

A key feature of the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black electric guitar is its pickup configuration. The instrument is equipped with two Alnico V VH3n humbuckers. This combination is among the essential technical specifications and clearly defines the guitar’s electrical character. According to the description, the two Alnico V humbuckers, in combination with the push/pull high-pass filter, deliver a diverse range of powerful sounds.

Controls include a master volume and master tone knob with a push/pull function for the “Dry Switch.” This is complemented by a 3-way switch. The electronics are clearly structured, making the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E-guitar intuitive to operate. This configuration is particularly appealing to players looking for a modern humbucker guitar with additional tone options.

Hardware and Factory String Set

The Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E-guitar is equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a Stopbar tailpiece. This feature is one of the explicitly listed hardware characteristics and adds an important component to the instrument’s basic configuration. It also features a 3-ply black pickguard and chrome hardware. These details underscore the model’s clean and modern design.

The guitar comes factory-strung with Elixir Nanoweb Light strings in gauge 010–046. This factory string setup adds another important detail to the technical description. Thus, the Yamaha Revstar RSE20L Element Series Black E-guitar is described completely and precisely in all essential aspects.
