Arnolds and Sons ASL-703 Junior B-Posaune Product Details
The trombone was developed in France around 1450. It did not yet have a slide mechanism and was based on the busine. From the very beginning, it was possible to play a chromatic scale on it. Among other things, it served as a warning instrument for watchmen.
During the Renaissance, the instrument was often used in ensembles with singers and strings due to its clean intonation. It was rarely played alone and went completely out of fashion during the Baroque period due to the aristocracy's preference for string and stringed instruments.
The trombone, as it is known today, was not built until the beginning of the 19th century and was firmly integrated into the symphony orchestra by Ludwig van Beethoven. Even in the 20th century, the trombone was able to hold its own in classical music and is also an equally important instrument in jazz, swing and traditional brass band music.
Arnolds & Sons: Arnolds & Sons® trombones are designed to meet the different requirements of this register. Every style of music and every instrumentation expects a specific timbre and presence.
