Vocoder power with voice and synth

The integrated 16-band vocoder engine processes the signal from the included gooseneck microphone or external sources and transforms speech, vocals or noise into spectral textures, talkbox effects or electronic vocal pads. In combination with the MiniFreak's oscillators, unique hybrid sounds are created - perfect for live performances, electronic productions or cinematic sound design.

Hybrid sound generation

The heart of the MiniFreak Vocoder consists of two digital sound engines with a total of 31 oscillator modes, which can be used either independently, stacked or modulated. Supported by polyphonic analog filters and VCAs, the result is a balanced mix of digital precision and analog warmth. This allows classic synth sounds as well as experimental soundscapes to be realized.

Modulation and sound design without limits

An extensive modulation matrix with 7 sources and 13 destinations allows detailed control over every sound detail. In addition, two LFOs with freely definable curves, a cyclic envelope and a classic envelope are available for each voice. The innovative Spice & Dice functions invite you to experiment with variations, chaos and surprising musical results.

Ready-to-mix sound thanks to integrated effects

The MiniFreak Vocoder offers three digital effect slots with a total of 13 effect types, including reverb, delay, distortion, stereo chorus and 3-band EQ. The effects can be used as inserts or sends and are as flexible as the sound design itself - for production-ready sounds straight from the device.

The velocity-sensitive 37-key keyboard with aftertouch allows expressive playing and is ideal for expressive performances. The 64-step sequencer with four modulation tracks and the flexible arpeggiator with functions such as ratcheting, randomization and octave variations make the MiniFreak a fun live instrument.

VST plug-in & full connectivity included

The scope of delivery includes the MiniFreak V software, a fully-fledged plug-in with an identical engine that works seamlessly with the hardware. This allows sounds to be edited, recorded and saved directly in the DAW.
