This USB-soundcard belongs to the HiFi-adequate stereo headset of Beyerdynamic’s MMX 300. The USB-converter works in principle as extended headset control element for controlling the headphones volume and mic mute function. It doesn’t offer a room sound simulation like Dolby, but separate sound cards can be connected thanks to the jack plugs at the USB sound card.
