The ChamSys MagicQ Compact Connect is a high-performance USB wing for PC or Mac and offers professional lighting, video and LED control in a compact format. Designed for mobile lighting designers on the move, this powerful device combines the full functionality of the MagicQ series with maximum portability - without any license or dongle restrictions.

Powerful control in a compact form

With its compact design, the Compact Connect meets the hand luggage requirements of all major airlines - perfect for touring technicians and mobile applications. Despite its small size, it offers a powerful control platform with up to 64 universes via network and two direct DMX outputs (5-pin, RDM-capable).

The user interface is identical to that of the large MagicQ consoles, making it ideal for anyone already working with ChamSys systems. Together with the free MagicQ software (compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux), the Compact Connect is a fully-fledged lighting control solution for live events, theaters, studios, clubs or permanent installations.

Professional equipment for flexible applications

The 10 playback faders with go, flash and select buttons enable intuitive and tactile control of cues, chases and scenes. Shows can be extensively structured on up to 500 pages. 8 encoders for attributes provide direct access to pan, tilt, color, gobos and more. A separate grand master and a crossfader support dynamic lighting control during the show.

An integrated USB hub with 4 USB-A outputs and 1 USB-C input allows the connection of memory sticks, touchscreens and other peripheral devices. An audio input, a 10Scene/remote input and a network port are also available - ideal for timecode-controlled shows and external triggers.
