The DBX DriveRack 260 is a powerful digital speaker management solution designed specifically for professional sound reinforcement systems. It combines precise signal processing with intelligent automation to take sound quality and system integration to a new level. Ideal for fixed installations and touring applications, it offers a comprehensive range of features for optimal adjustment of loudspeakers and room acoustics.

Intelligent system setup with Auto-EQ and Wizard

At the heart of the system is a Real Time Analyzer with Auto EQ, which, together with the integrated pink noise generator and a separate microphone input (including phantom power), enables automatic matching between loudspeakers and room. Setup is intuitive and quick using the wizard function - including predefined JBL speaker and crown amp tunings. Speaker models from the JBL AE series are also included in the library.

Comprehensive sound processing & safety

The integrated feedback eliminator works with extremely narrow-band 1/80 octave notch filters and thus offers protection against feedback - without audible sound impairment. Each of the six outputs is equipped with its own 4-band parametric equalizer. Additional sound processing tools include a graphic or parametric input EQ, a classic dbx compressor, subharmonic synthesizer, limiter, crossover and delay time of up to 2.7 seconds.

Professional control & integration

The device can be operated either directly via the device or via the supplied graphical user interface (GUI) on the computer via RS-232. In addition, the polarity, phase and naming of the outputs can be individually adjusted. The high-quality 24-bit conversion (AD/DA) with dbx Type IV technology enables an outstanding dynamic range of up to 110 dB.
