OMNITRONIC XO-300 Active Crossover Product Details

OMNITRONIC XO-300 Active Crossover

Are you looking for an active crossover that allows you to neatly structure and precisely tune your speaker system for 3-way stereo operation? The OMNITRONIC XO-300 Active Crossover is a versatile solution for sound reinforcement systems where individual frequency ranges need to be specifically divided and controlled separately. It is suitable for applications in installations, clubs, dance studios, on stages, in home recording setups, in studios, as well as in band and rehearsal rooms.

With its 3-way stereo operation, the XO-300 offers a clear division into low-, mid-, and high-frequency ranges. The variable Linkwitz-Riley filters, with a slope of 24 dB per octave, ensure precise separation of the frequency ranges. This allows the signal to be distributed appropriately across different speaker channels, which is an important foundation for a controlled sound image, especially in multi-component PA and speaker systems.

Precise control for each frequency range

A major advantage of the OMNITRONIC XO-300 is the ability to individually adjust the output levels for each frequency range. This allows for precise adjustment of the low, mid, and high frequencies. The low/mid and mid/high crossover frequencies are also continuously adjustable. This allows the crossover to be flexibly tailored to different speaker configurations and applications.

The mute function can be activated individually for the input signal and for each frequency range. This simplifies setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting within the system. Additionally, a CD horn EQ can be enabled for treble equalization. For further adjustments, the phase of the low and mid ranges can be switched. The input level is also adjustable, allowing the crossover to be easily integrated into existing signal paths.

Professional Connections and Rack Mounting

The balanced inputs and outputs are implemented via XLR connectors. This makes the XO-300 ideal for use in professional audio environments. The unit features two XLR inputs and six XLR outputs. The maximum level is +22 dBu at both the input and output.

The black metal enclosure is designed for 19-inch rack mounting and occupies 1U of space. With a width of 48.3 cm, a depth of 18.7 cm, and a height of 4.45 cm, the crossover can be integrated into a rack in a space-saving manner. It weighs 2.37 kg.

Flexible Crossover for PA, Studio, and Installation

The OMNITRONIC XO-300 is an ideal choice for users who want to precisely split their speaker systems, cleanly balance levels, and flexibly manage frequency ranges. Thanks to its combination of 3-way stereo operation, variable crossover frequencies, mute functions, XLR connectors, and rack-mount design, the unit is suitable for many professional and semi-professional applications.

Expand your audio setup with the OMNITRONIC XO-300 and create a solid foundation for structured, precise, and controlled signal distribution.
