Electro Harmonix Platform

The PLATFORM is a professional stereo compressor limiter with volume swell and tape reverse as well as overdrive. It is powerful for studio productions, yet compact enough to play a gig!

The Platform's compressor/limiter allows the user to precisely tune the dynamics of their instrument and features controls for volume, attack, release, and sustain, as well as push buttons for hard or soft knee and limiter. Switchable overdrive controls in the foot section increase the pedal's versatility with dedicated controls for volume, tone and drive. The volume swell is controlled with a dedicated knob. Turning it clockwise, the swell increases from zero and notes fade more slowly.

The unit is designed for true stereo operation and can be used as mono in and out, mono in and stereo out, or stereo in and stereo out. The pedal features a three-color, bargraph LED array with eight LEDs that indicate the actual gain reduction of the compressor in real time, acting unlike a VU meter. The Platform Stereo Compressor/Limiter comes with an EHX9.6-200mA power supply.
