Electro Harmonix Silencer

The Silencer is a noise gate from Electro Harmonix that can tame a single effects pedal or an entire effects setup. The Silencer can be finely tuned to your own setup using the three rotary controls. Tresh determines the level of the gate and when it becomes active. Reduction regulates the degree to which the signal is reduced between -70dB and +4dB. Finally, Release controls how long the gate remains active after the signal level has dropped below the Treshhold. The Silencer comes in a solid die-cast housing and can be operated either via a 9 V battery or a mains adapter.
