Josh Middleton is a celebrated and influential guitarist in the UK-based progressive metal/metalcore bands Sylosis and Architects. For a crisp response on his LTD JM-II, Josh Middleton not only wanted an alder body with a chic quilt top, but also a bolt-on neck made of extremely stable roasted maple. In addition, the extra-flat Thin-U profile together with the virtually wear-free stainless steel binding offers the best playing characteristics for tight riffing and virtuoso sweeps. The components of the JM-II include a set of modern humbucker pickups from Fishman Fluence with push-pull control for selecting the voicings. Also on board are proper LTD locking tuners and a recessed Gotoh TOM bridge with string-through-body design.
