ESP LTD – modern electric guitar with a metal character

The ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar is designed for musicians who prefer a direct, punchy guitar sound while also valuing comfortable playability. The modern Strat-style body gives the instrument a dynamic appearance. At the same time, the slim body ensures a comfortable playing experience, especially during fast movements and technically demanding passages.

Whether powerful metal riffs, classic rock rhythms, or fast guitar solos: The M-200FR provides a solid foundation for a wide range of musical styles. Its features focus on the essential characteristics of a modern rock and metal guitar. These include two passive humbuckers, straightforward tone controls, and a tremolo system for expressive playing techniques.

Solid-body construction in a modern Strat shape

The ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar features a solid body in a modern Strat shape. This design combines a striking appearance with a layout geared toward comfortable playing. The slim body enhances the instrument’s playability and makes the guitar particularly appealing to musicians who want to move freely while playing.

With its black finish, the M-200FR exudes a deliberately sleek and powerful look. The glossy black hardware complements the design and ensures a cohesive appearance. The combination of the black finish and the modern body shape gives the guitar a distinctive look that suits harder music genres particularly well.

The classic six-string configuration makes the instrument suitable for a wide range of typical guitar techniques. From precise rhythm patterns to expressive lead lines, the design offers a versatile foundation for daily practice, creative songwriting, and musical performances.

Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard

For comfortable playability, the ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar features a bolt-on maple neck. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 24 frets. This provides a wide tonal range, which is particularly useful for guitar solos and melodic passages.

The scale length is 25.5 inches or 648 mm. This provides a familiar foundation for a variety of playing techniques. Combined with the ergonomically designed neck, the instrument is particularly well-suited for fast riffs, precise note sequences, and challenging solo passages.

24 frets for versatile lead techniques

With its 24 frets, the ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar offers additional possibilities for solo playing. Guitarists who enjoy playing in higher registers will particularly benefit from this extended range. This allows for fast runs, melodic solos, and technically demanding passages across a wide area of the fretboard.

The bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard complement the guitar’s modern design. Combined with the slim body shape, the result is an instrument designed for a direct, comfortable playing experience.

Two ESP 150B humbuckers for powerful guitar tones

The ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar is equipped with two passive ESP 150B humbuckers. The same pickup type is used at both the neck and bridge positions. This HH configuration provides a versatile foundation for a variety of tone characteristics and is particularly well-suited for rock and metal applications.

The humbuckers deliver a powerful and assertive tone. This allows for heavy rhythm guitar, warm crunch sounds, and distinctive lead parts. Especially with distorted sounds, a powerful pickup setup is ideal for musically emphasizing fast riffs and expressive solos.

At the same time, the combination of neck and bridge pickups allows for a variety of tonal colors. While you may prefer a warmer tone for certain passages, the other pickup position offers an alternative tonal foundation. This allows the ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar to be adapted to various musical situations.

Simple operation with a three-way switch

The electronics are clearly laid out. A three-way toggle switch allows you to select the pickup configuration. In addition, there is a volume control and a tone control. This allows you to adjust the most important tone settings directly on the guitar.

This simple operation is particularly convenient when you want to quickly switch between different tone characteristics while playing. Instead of a complex array of switches, the ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition Electric Guitar offers direct control that focuses on the essential functions.

Floyd Rose-style tremolo for expressive playing techniques

An important feature is the Floyd Rose-style tremolo system. It expands the playing possibilities of the ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar and is particularly well-suited for expressive vibrato effects and dynamic pitch changes.

Among other things, the tremolo allows you to perform powerful dive bombs and other characteristic playing techniques. These effects are particularly popular means of expression in metal and modern rock. You can use them to shape solos, modify individual notes, and add extra accents to your performance.

The design is engineered for reliable tuning stability even during intensive use. As a result, the tremolo system complements the powerful humbucker configuration and supports the guitar’s musical character.

Limited-edition black special model, with only 60 units available

The ESP Ltd M-200FR BLK Limited Edition electric guitar is a special model limited to 60 units. This limited production sets it apart from regularly available guitars and makes it particularly appealing to musicians who value an exclusive design.

The black finish underscores the instrument’s modern and aggressive design. Together with the black gloss hardware, it creates a cohesive look that emphasizes the guitar’s metal and rock character.

The limited production run is an additional selling point. Anyone looking for a modern electric guitar with a unique design will find that the M-200FR BLK combines powerful sound characteristics, comfortable playability, and a distinctive visual character.
