EV Electro Voice ZLX 12 G2 Passiver Lautsprecher

ZLX G2 is the second generation of the phenomenally successful ZLX series of portable speakers. The ZLX G2 series builds on the best of what made the original ZLX series an industry icon, offering a range of features and functions at the highest level.

The outstanding audio quality that has made the ZLX the first choice for live performance/playback and installed sound has been further enhanced with the ZLX G2. The maximum sound pressure level has been increased and the high quality components behind the grille ensure that the ZLX G2 offers impressive acoustic performance for everyday use. The woofer and compression driver in each ZLX G2 model are coupled with a patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) waveguide that enhances low-frequency response and provides even vertical and horizontal coverage across all frequencies - all in a more compact form factor. The ZLX G2 offers a sound that lives up to the Electro-Voice name.

The ZLX G2 was developed with cabinet design, ergonomics and versatility in mind. The result is a sleek but solid blend of form and function that evolves elements of the first generation while incorporating important improvements to enhance the user experience. Available in black, the speaker cabinet is made of durable polypropylene and features a new reinforced "spine" with embossed Electro-Voice logo.

Symmetrical 55º sides allow for a steeper projection angle when the speaker is placed in monitor position, making it easier for the user to hear themselves, while also providing easier access to the amplifier input/control panel on the opposite side. A built-in "kick-back" angle allows the 12" version to project upwards at an angle of 23º when positioned vertically. The cabinet's stance has been redesigned to face straight forward when placed directly on top of a subwoofer (i.e. without the use of a pole).

In addition to portable sound for live performances and events, the ZLX G2 is ideal for installation in bars, restaurants, clubs, churches and many other applications thanks to its compact size with great performance and a range of user-friendly mounting options.
