The Player II Jaguar embodies pure timeless Fender charm. Under the hood, things are ultra-modern. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The modern C-profile neck with a silky urethane finish at the back has a fingerboard made of slab rosewood with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The classic alder body is available in one of the popular timeless Fender finishes - or in brand new historic vintage colors fresh from the Fender archives. Player Series Alnico V (bridge) and Alnico II (neck) Jaguar single-coils deliver crystalline, bright highs, musical mids and crisp lows. The neck pickup sounds glassy and bell-like, while the bridge pickup adds plenty of presence and bite. The pickups can be combined to create different sounds using the 3-way switch. The strings run over a Jaguar bridge with floating tremolo and six optimized Mustang® string saddles. ClassicGear™ tuners keep the tuning stable.
