When the Starcaster came onto the market in the 1970s, it broke the boundaries of conventional semi-hollow guitar design with its offset shaping. Experimental musicians in particular were thrilled by the variety of sounds and the idiosyncratic look, which seemed out of this world. The Classic Vibe Starcaster revives the original Fender model with massive, powerful tone delivered by the two Fender-designed Wide Range humbuckers. The slim C-profile neck with 9.5" fretboard radius and Narrow Tall Frets plays comfortably light, and the Stop Tailpiece provides great tuning stability. Other details of this Squier model include: headstock with exclusive contour finish and '70s lettering, nickel-plated hardware, and smooth tinted high-gloss neck finish for that stylish old school vibe.
