Manufacturer - GEWA: A passion for quality and innovation
GEWA Music is known for its high-quality instruments and innovative technologies that inspire musicians worldwide. With the DP 510, GEWA is setting new standards in the field of digital pianos by combining state-of-the-art sound and sensor technology with intuitive operation and a classic design. The goal: an authentic playing experience and outstanding sound for pianists of all levels of experience.
Technical details - top sound and natural playing mechanics
At the heart of the GEWA DP 510 is the optimized "Hamburg Grand" piano sample, based on the legendary Steinway D-274. With over 1 GB of high-resolution sample memory, it produces a dynamic and nuanced sound that faithfully reproduces the natural resonance of a concert grand piano. The latest DSP and memory technology ensures brilliant and expressive sound quality.
The GEWA Smart Touch keyboard with 88 weighted hammer action keys conveys an authentic playing feel which, thanks to graduated weighting, offers more resistance to the lower keys than to the higher keys - just like an acoustic grand piano. A special highlight is the User Calibration Tool, which can be used to individually adjust the keyboard behavior.
The sound library comprises 21 high-resolution sounds ranging from classic grand piano and upright piano sounds to modern electric pianos, organs and strings. The split and layer function allows two sounds to be played simultaneously, while four freely assignable favorite sounds guarantee quick access to favorite sounds.
Recommended buy - Versatile features for practicing, composition and performance
The GEWA DP 510 is not only ideal for practicing and composing, but also for demanding stage use. The integrated lesson function with a constantly growing practice piece library and the metronome with various rhythms support pianists of all levels.
Two independent effect blocks with four reverb and eight modulation effects are available for individual sound design. A 256-voice polyphony allows complex passages to be played without sound interruptions. The Bluetooth Audio + MIDI function enables wireless connection to external devices, streaming of music and control of apps. In combination with the GEWA Piano Remote app, the digital piano can be conveniently controlled via smartphone or tablet - from creating your own favorite sounds to precise calibration of the keyboard.
