With the A527-NSH, Ibanez is launching a state-of-the-art instrument for progressive guitarists - part of the Alpha series, which sets new standards in terms of ergonomics, tonal variety and playing comfort. The series was specially developed for musicians who want creative freedom, technical precision and a well thought-out, future-oriented design.

Multiscale design & ergonomics on a new level

At the heart of this guitar is the Parallel Wizard AS neck made from five pieces of maple and walnut. With a constant thickness of 21 mm and an asymmetrical shape on the bass side, it feels natural and controlled in the hand - ideal for fast techniques such as sweeping or complex rhythm patterns. The Alpha Neck Joint with three screws increases stability while allowing unrestricted access to high registers.

The ebony fingerboard delivers a crisp response, powerful mids and brilliant highs, while the jumbo stainless steel frets ensure perfect intonation, durability and effortless articulation. The multiscale scale of 691-648 mm (27.2"-25.5") ensures optimum string tension - a decisive advantage, especially with low-tuned strings.

State-of-the-art electronics with Fishman® Fluence™

The A527-NSH is equipped with Fishman® Fluence™ Modern humbuckers: an Alnico pickup in the neck position and a ceramic pickup on the bridge. These deliver a powerful, modern sound with high clarity, assertive response and low background noise. You can switch between two different sound characteristics per pickup using the voicing switch - from powerful high-gain to an open, dynamic sound.

High-quality hardware for maximum performance

The mono-rail G2 bridge ensures precise string separation, perfect vibration transmission and comfortable setup - with top-load and string-through options. Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners offer reliable tuning stability and make string changes quick and easy.

Consistently well thought-out design

Whether on stage or in the rehearsal room: the ergonomic body design with elbow and back contours noticeably improves posture and playing comfort. The flat lower edge of the body ensures a secure hold when sitting, while the jack socket on the back allows full freedom of movement. Luminescent side dots make it easier to play on dark stages. The included Ibanez gig bag reliably protects the guitar during transportation.
