Maximum control, precision and comfort

The five-piece Super Wizard HP neck made of maple and wenge is a tried and tested member of the RG family and is known for its enormous stability and slim playability. With a thickness of only 17 mm at the first fret and 19 mm at the twelfth fret, it is perfect for fast playing techniques, tapping and shredding. The playing feel is supported by the bound rosewood fingerboard, which scores with its pleasant feel and full tone color. The Luminlay side dots also ensure perfect orientation on dark stages.

Equipped with jumbo stainless steel frets with Prestige Fret Edge Treatment, the RGR5221R offers a particularly pleasant, precise playing feel. The frets are corrosion-resistant and guarantee excellent response and clean articulation across the entire fretboard.

Sound and electronics for modern requirements

The sound is provided by two Bare Knuckle Brute Force pickups - known for their aggressive output, deep, rich mids and defined highs. Whether deep drop tunings, palm-muted rhythm work or singing leads: These pickups deliver a modern, extremely assertive tone with brilliant definition. A coil tap switch can be used to activate single-coil-like sounds, which considerably expands the tonal range of the guitar.

The Gibraltar Standard III bridge offers optimum playing comfort thanks to its low profile and ensures excellent transmission of the string vibrations. In combination with the Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners, the tuning remains stable and string changes are also quick and easy. All this makes the guitar a reliable tool - live, in the studio or in the rehearsal room.
