Construction and feel
The poplar body forms the tonal basis of the Jackson Pro Plus Pure Metal LTD Soloist SL1A Satin Black electric guitar incl. gig bag. The neck-through-body construction with a three-piece maple neck ensures direct vibration transmission and long sustain. This design stands for stability and an even playing feel across the entire fingerboard.
The ebony fingerboard with a compound radius of 12' - 16' adapts perfectly to different playing techniques. Chords feel comfortable in the lower registers, while fast solos and precise bendings are effortless in the higher registers. The 24 jumbo stainless steel frets are particularly durable and offer a smooth surface that can handle even intensive playing with ease.
With a scale length of 64.8 cm (25.5') and a nut width of 42.86 mm (1.6875'), the guitar sits comfortably in the hand. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking nut complements the double-locking system and supports tuning stability even with extreme tremolo use. Pearloid Sharkfin inlays provide clear orientation on the fingerboard and emphasize the typical Jackson look.
Sound, hardware and control
A Bare Knuckle Holydiver pickup is used on the bridge. This pickup stands for powerful mids, tight basses and clear highs. It is ideal for high-gain riffs, precise rhythm work and singing lead passages. The 5-way pickup selector switch can be used to call up different sound variants, while the master volume control with push/pull voice activation opens up additional tonal possibilities.
The Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo enables extreme dive bombs as well as sensitive vibrato effects. Together with the Jackson Die-Cast closed tuners, the tuning remains stable even with intensive use. The black hardware blends seamlessly into the uncompromising satin black appearance.
The guitar comes with a set of .009 - .042 Nickel Plated Steel strings. A Jackson soft case is included to ensure safe transportation.
