The JBL LSR305P MKII is a very compact active monitor with magnetically shielded 5" woofer chassis and 1" soft dome tweeter. Excellent, wide frequency response, high level reserves as well as an attractive price characterize this monitor. The powerful 5" woofer in combination with the flow-optimized "Slip-Stream" bass reflex port produces an enormous bass response with a very low cut-off frequency. An additional subwoofer can be omitted in many applications. Due to the new "Image Control Waveguide" horn, a technology originally developed for the JBL M2 reference monitor, all high-frequency details are reproduced very precisely. In addition, the dispersion range is extremely homogeneous, giving the user a wide listening and moving range (large sweet spot) as well as a wide, deeply staggered stereo image with a precise center ("phantom center"). The integrated digital bi-amp power amplifiers generate 82 watts of continuous power. There are balanced connection options through XLR and jack sockets. The input sensitivity can be switched from -10 dB to +4 dB. Switchable filters with +/-2 dB in the high and low frequency range are available for adaptation to the room and individual taste.
