As a true classic among the ranks of electronic sound generators, the compact microKORG can already look back on a two-decade history - and there's still no end in sight, because the virtual-analog synth with integrated vocoder still enjoys unbroken popularity among producers and live musicians! To celebrate this success, KORG is now giving the little jack-of-all-trades a special limited edition model in the breathtaking "Crystal" design. Here, the inner values of the microKORG are literally brought into focus, as the housing is kept mostly transparent, which allows otherwise hidden glimpses into the actual technology of the synth. In keeping with this look, the microKORG Crystal also features a mirror-look control panel and brushed aluminum side panels. A special eye-catcher: The circuit boards inside the instrument have been designed in white especially for this model, which adds the finishing touch to the unusual design. Under the transparent hood works the proven combination of a 4-voice polyphonic, virtual-analog synthesizer with additional DWGS waveforms, an 8-band vocoder and integrated effects, which let the microKORG become what it is today: a living legend!
