KRK Classic 5 Product Details
The CLASSIC 5 is an active (self-powered) two-way studio monitor with a 1" textile soft dome tweeter and a 5" glass aramid woofer. The built-in power amplifiers deliver a total of 50 watts of power, with a 30-watt amplifier driving the woofer and a 20-watt amplifier driving the tweeter. Based on concepts from earlier ROKIT lines, which are among the most widely used studio monitors in the world, the CLASSIC 5 employs a new, flat frequency solution that facilitates critical listening, helping to achieve more accurate mixdowns. With the ability to activate the +2 dB KRK Bass Boost, the CLASSIC 5 can also deliver the extended bass response and sound that music producers around the world have loved for years.
