The Laney Cub-212 100 W 2 x 12" Open-Back Cabinet is a powerful speaker cabinet with a classic vintage character. Inside the Cub-212 are two 12-inch HH Custom speakers, which together offer a power handling capacity of up to 100 watts. The combination of speaker size and cabinet design delivers a full sound with clear mids, prominent highs, and controlled bass—ideal for use with tube or solid-state amplifiers in the clean to vintage gain range.

Open back panel for an airy, lively sound

The open back panel gives the sound a natural sense of space and openness that really comes into its own at low to medium volumes. The sound feels less compressed, assertive, and at the same time pleasantly warm—perfect for blues, rock ’n’ roll, jazz, or classic British sounds.

Flexibility thanks to dual 1/4" jacks

The speaker features two 1/4"-jacks, which serve as Input and Link. This allows the Cub-212 to be connected directly to an amplifier or combined with other speaker cabinets as part of a larger setup. The 8-ohm impedance makes it compatible with many standard head amplifiers.
