The amplifier features a versatile channel that can be precisely adjusted thanks to clever switches. The Clean/Lead switch lets you switch between a crystal-clear clean sound and a cutting lead channel. Within Lead mode, two tone options are available: Bright for more presence or Dark for a warmer, mid-range tone. The additional Boost control delivers even more punch for solos or rich riffs when desired.

Classic 3-band EQ for precise tone shaping

For fine-tuning the tone, Treble, Middle, and Bass are available as classic EQ controls. Combined with the Gain and Volume controls, the IRF Leadtop offers an astonishing range of sounds—from clean and open to crunchy or singing lead tones.

Thanks to the built-in power switch (Max/1W), the amplifier can be used without any issues even in quiet environments. For modern setups, the IRF Leadtop offers all the necessary connections: The 1/8" stereo aux input allows you to play back tracks or music. The FX loop with return and transformer-isolated send allows for the use of external effects. A 1/8" stereo headphone output is available for recording or monitoring. Three 1/4" outputs provide connections for speakers (8 ohms), line out (100 ohms), and FX send.
