The Laney LFSUPER TOP guitar head is a modern, analog guitar head that delivers the authentic feel of classic tube amplifiers—inspired by the award-winning Lionheart series. Authentic playing feel—without any tubes

At the heart of the LFSUPER TOP is a fully analog signal path that faithfully replicates the topology of a classic tube amplifier. All circuits are built using discrete components and tuned to match the feel of Lionheart all-tube amplifiers—without any digital modeling.

Two Channels with Character

The LFSUPER TOP features a clean channel for brilliant, clear tones and a drive channel for warm overdrives all the way up to singing leads. Both channels can be switched using an FS2-MINI footswitch. The clean channel also features a Bright switch, while the drive channel is equipped with a Character switch (Normal, Bright, Dark) to flexibly shape the tone of the distorted sound.

Built-in Effects—Creative and Classic

With the LFSUPER TOP, you have an entire effects section at your disposal: A foot-switchable pre-boost gives the signal more punch when desired. The digital reverb provides classic spatial depth, while the tremolo evokes legendary ’60s amps—from surf to vintage vibes. It also features the Spiral Chorus, based on the renowned Spiral Array Chorus from Black Country Customs—a modulation effect with character, depth, and versatility.

Impulse Response Technology (LA·IR)

The LFSUPER TOP is equipped with LA·IR technology —a high-quality digital speaker emulation via impulse response. Two selectable options are available: 1x12" and 4x12". Via the balanced XLR DI output, you can send your signal—complete with speaker simulation—directly to the mixing console or audio interface—perfect for the studio and stage, without the need for miking. The FX send output also serves as a non-emulated line out.

Well-Thought-Out Features & Flexible Connectivity

Thanks to the built-in FX loop, you can easily route external effects through the signal path. The stereo AUX input allows you to play back backing tracks, while the stereo headphone output enables silent practice—with full sound and effects. The head features two speaker outputs (6.3 mm), a universal power supply (100–240 V) for worldwide use, and a clearly structured user interface with illuminated LED indicators for all functions.
