The MAUI 5 is an ultra-compact PA and monitor system with a weight of just under 11 kg, 800 watts peak power and a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB all in one. The smallest system of the MAUI family is constructed in a matter of seconds by specially developed multipin connectors and only 4 components. It impresses with extended radiation and high feedback resistance. The MAUI 5 is comfortable to carry and fits on any car seat.

The bass reflex cabinet of the 8" subwoofer base also houses the system's Class D amplifier unit with protection circuits against overcurrent, overheating and short-circuit, LD Systems digital LECC signal processing and a 4-channel mixer. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth© technology for wireless streaming and simultaneously assignable microphone, line and high-impedance inputs, a wide variety of sound sources can be connected to the MAUI 5, e.g. players and instruments such as keyboards or guitars. Separate level controls, volume controls for subwoofer and system as well as a high shelf filter for adjusting the treble reproduction to the room acoustics allow a perfectly tuned performance. The MAUI 5 is also available in black (LDMAUI5).
