The LEE Zircon series was developed especially and exclusively for LEDs. Thanks to the special design of the Zircon filters and their almost double material thickness, they last up to 200 times longer than conventional LEE filters and are at the same time more robust and easier to handle in daily use.

As LEE Zircon filters have been developed exclusively for LED spotlights, the flame-retardant finish has been dispensed with. This means that the filters cannot be used in conventional spotlights.
