The MOTU 828 Pro Audio Interface, completely redesigned in its 7th generation, connects to a Mac, PC or iOS device via super-speed USB3 with ultra-low latency and powerful drivers. It offers 60 audio input/output channels, thanks to the renowned ESS Sabre32™ DAC technology, outstanding analog performance, a 24-channel mixer and integrated effects such as reverb, 4-band EQ and compression. Two front panel "combo" mic/instrument inputs provide transparent preamps with Hi-Z guitar input for re-amping. These have individual gain/pad/phantom power settings and dedicated send/return inserts for external equipment. Control room functions such as talkback, mute, mono and A/B speaker select buttons are provided on the front panel. Advanced features include two banks of optical inputs and outputs, an optical expander mode, word clock input/output, footswitch input, MIDI input/output, customizable front panel level meters, multi-channel monitor control for surround speakers, and Wi-Fi control via smartphone or tablet.
