At the heart of the controller is a completely redesigned synth-style keyboard with 61 velocity-sensitive keys. For real-time control, you have 8 faders (30 mm each), 8 high-resolution encoders, 9 LED-backlit buttons, and a large encoder with a selectable 7-bit or 10-bit resolution. The latter can be assigned additional control functions via the dedicated selection button. The LED segment display provides visual feedback at all times regarding the active mode and control parameters.

The LX61 MK3 also offers extensive navigation capabilities: With 8 navigation buttons, you can control mode changes, track switching, and patch selection, among other functions. The Page button allows you to access different control pages within the DAW—in both Mixer and Instrument modes.

For rhythmic applications, there are 8 velocity-sensitive, LED-backlit pads that can be easily assigned via the keyboard. Using the pad arrow keys, you can conveniently switch between different pad maps, a total of 8 of which can be stored directly in the device. All encoders, faders, and buttons are fully MIDI-programmable—allowing you to perfectly customize the controller to your individual setup.

The LX61 MK3 is powered via USB and features a modern USB-C port. A USB-C-to-USB-A cable is included. In addition, the unit features a 1/4" TS jack for connecting an optional footswitch, as well as a physical on/off switch.
