The PowerCon is a 3-pole mains connector with phase, neutral and leading earthing contact. It replaces the power plug where a very rugged solution with a locking mechanism is needed to guarantee a secure power connection.

The PowerCon is a plug connector and not a plug connector, i. e. the PowerCon must not be plugged in or unplugged under load or voltage.
