Description

NUX NAI-5 Optima Air Akustikgitarrensimulator Product Details

The NUX Pedals Optima Air NAI 5 simulates authentic acoustic guitar sounds with almost any guitar type. To ensure this, the pedal from the Verdugo series uses innovative IR modeling technology to make the distinctive sound characteristics of the most famous designs available with different pickup systems. With 15 presets pre-installed from the factory, 15 top-class acoustic guitars from famous jumbo builds of renowned manufacturers to the extremely popular dreadnought can be recreated. The presets are tuned to both magnetic pickup systems of the electric guitar and piezo pickups of the acoustic guitar.

Creating your own impulse responses allows you to capture the individual character of your own guitar and make it available with other guitars. To do this, the guitar's pickup system is connected to the input jack and an additional microphone signal is fed in via the pedal's return jack. When the amp switch is pressed, the preamp section of the Nux Pedals Optima Air is activated, which provides an additional gain control and a 3-band equalizer. The Nux Pedals Optima Air comes up with numerous connections for a wide range of applications. In addition to a serial effects loop, a DI output in XLR format, an aux input for playback devices and a headphone jack are on board. An additional USB port allows firmware updates and editing and saving of presets via the free Optima Air software.
