The Oberheim OB-X8M combines the sonic performance of the legendary Oberheim OB-X, OB-Xa and OB-8 models in a compact desktop module, ideal for studios and mobile musicians. As a stand-alone module without a keyboard, the OB-X8M is aimed particularly at users who already own a high-quality master keyboard or who travel a lot. This model offers the same powerful sound engine as the keyboard version and relies on a purely analog signal path with discrete VCOs, VCAs and filters, giving you precise access to all synthesizer parameters.

With eight-voice polyphony and three analog oscillators per voice, the OB-X8M delivers full and rich sounds suitable for a wide range of applications - from powerful keyboard instruments to complex synthesized sounds. The synthesizer offers extensive editing options via a variety of knobs that allow you to control frequency, resonance and modulation filters, as well as adjust oscillators and their mix to create unique sound textures and effects.

An outstanding feature of the OB-X8M is the integrated effects processor, which offers effects such as chorus, flanger and delay, adding extra dimension and depth to your sounds.
