There is another way! The Ortega ATG44NM Green strings in medium tension are not only manufactured in Italy using renewable raw materials in a climate-neutral way, they are also packed without unnecessary plastic. While the winding (of the E6, A5 and D4 strings) is traditional and made from recycled, silver-plated copper wire, both the core of the wound strings as well as the whole strings (for the G3, B2 and E1 strings) are made from the patented Bio-Nylon.

And it gets even better - in terms of sound, the Bio-Nylon behaves wonderfully. The ATG44NM sound open, dynamic and assertive. They are ideal for fingerpicking and offer a wonderfully tight chord sound when strumming with a pick.
