The Prodipe GL21 Lanen is a specially developed condenser microphone for acoustic guitar, ukulele, mandolin and dobro. Equipped with a high-resolution back electret capsule and a sophisticated clip system, the GL21 delivers a natural, dynamic and nuanced sound reproduction - both on stage and in the studio. Developed in collaboration with the renowned sound engineer Ludovic Lanen, this microphone offers a professional solution for demanding musicians who want to amplify their stringed instruments in the best possible quality.

High-resolution sound with full dynamics

Thanks to its high sound pressure tolerance of up to 140 dB SPL, the GL21 is also suitable for powerful strumming or percussive playing without distorting. The precise cardioid polar pattern ensures targeted pickup and simultaneously reduces background noise and feedback - ideal for stage performances or complex live setups.

The frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz is exceptionally linear, which means that the microphone accurately reproduces the sound character of your instrument - warm, transparent and authentic.

Innovative mounting system for perfect positioning

A special highlight of the GL21 is the two-part clip system, which enables precise and secure mounting on a wide variety of instrument types:

• Large clip: For guitars with a thick top or internal amplification close to the sound hole.
• Small, curved clip: For instruments with a narrow body or ribbed sound hole area - such as ukuleles or mandolins.

This allows the microphone to be optimally adjusted to the height and distance to the sound source without damaging or impairing the instrument.

Practical equipment for stage & studio

With a signal-to-noise ratio of 68 dB and a sensitivity of -47 dB ±3 dB, the GL21 guarantees noise-free, detailed signal transmission. The phantom power of 48 V enables operation on mixing consoles, audio interfaces or wireless systems with a corresponding power supply. The microphone is supplied with an approx. 1.5 m long connection cable, which offers you sufficient freedom of movement during performances or recordings.
