The system was designed for versatile applications and is suitable for voice amplification, background music, live performances, and DJ sets. Thanks to its combination of lightweight polypropylene construction, a two-piece column with a quick-connect system, and a powerful Class-D amplifier, the Proel Session2 PA Column System offers a practical solution for mobile sound reinforcement and professional applications.

Portable column sound system with subwoofer

The Proel Session2 PA column system consists of a compact active column system with a subwoofer. The column is equipped with eight high-resolution 2.75" full-range drivers, while the subwoofer features a 12" woofer and a 2.5" voice coil to deliver deep and powerful bass reproduction.

With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 123 dB, the system provides a powerful foundation for a variety of sound reinforcement applications. The dispersion angle is 90° horizontally and 60° vertically, supporting wide and controlled sound distribution.

1,200 W peak power and DSP processing

Inside the Proel Session2 PA column system is a 2-channel Class D amplifier with 1200 W total peak power and 600 W continuous power. Power is supplied via SMPS, and signal processing is handled by DSP.

The advanced DSP engine handles system processing and dynamic control. This efficiently coordinates the interaction between the subwoofer, column, amplifier, and tone control. Master EQ presets are available for various applications, including music, live performances, DJ sets, and speech.

Integrated 4-channel mixer

A major advantage of the Proel Session2 PA column system is the integrated 4-channel mixer. The two microphone inputs, CH1 and CH2, are balanced combo XLR/jack jacks. CH3 offers a balanced XLR-F input as well as an unbalanced stereo mini-jack. CH4 features balanced XLR-F and jack inputs.

All inputs are equipped with a 2-band EQ for treble and bass. A studio-quality digital reverb is also available for the two microphone channels. This allows vocals and instruments to be processed directly within the system without necessarily requiring an external mixing console.

USB/Bluetooth Media Player and Stereo Link

The built-in media player of the Proel Session2 PA column system allows for the playback of MP3 files via USB. Additionally, music can be streamed wirelessly via Bluetooth from a smartphone or tablet.

The player supports Bluetooth with Stereo Link. It is controlled via an LCD display and control buttons. This makes the system particularly suitable for mobile applications where playback devices need to be connected quickly and music played back with ease.

Design, Transport, and Accessories

The Proel Session2 PA column system is housed in ultra-lightweight and rugged polypropylene enclosures. The enclosure color is black. The column system consists of two parts and uses a quick-connect system with integrated power connections.

A padded bag for the two-part column is included as an accessory for transport. The subwoofer has a handle on top. The complete system weighs 24.1 kg, of which 19.8 kg is the subwoofer and 4.3 kg is the columns.
