Proel Session700 Column PA System with 8-Channel Digital Mixer & App Control

Are you looking for a compact, powerful, and flexibly controllable PA system for speech, music, live performances, DJ sets, or corporate events? The Proel Session700 Column PA System with 8-Channel Digital Mixer & App Control combines a portable 2.1 system with two column speakers, a subwoofer, an integrated digital mixer, and wireless app control.

The system is designed as a portable powered 2.1 solution and consists of two column-style top units and a subwoofer. The goal is to deliver professional performance with a high degree of flexibility. Thanks to its active system architecture, the integrated 8-channel digital mixer, and the ability for remote control, the Proel Session700 Column PA System with 8-channel digital mixer and app control is suitable for a wide variety of applications where quick setup, intuitive operation, and controlled sound are essential.

Compact 2.1 system with powerful speaker configuration

Each top unit is housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure and equipped with six 2.75" neodymium drivers. These drivers are arranged in a vertical array with a progressive down-tilt. This configuration expands vertical coverage while providing a wide horizontal dispersion of 100°. This ensures clear speech intelligibility and even sound distribution across the audience area.

The subwoofer is constructed of sturdy plywood and is equipped with a 12" high-excursion woofer with a 2.5" voice coil. It delivers dynamic bass and extended low-frequency response. The system’s frequency range extends from 45 Hz to 20 kHz at -10 dB, with a maximum sound pressure level of 126 dB peak system output at pink noise.

Power, DSP, and Flexible System Configuration

At the heart of the Proel Session700 column PA system with an 8-channel digital mixer and app control is a 3-channel Class-D amplifier with SMPS. The system’s power output is rated at 350 watts LF continuous, 2 x 175 watts HF continuous, and 1,400 watts system peak. A 32-bit DSP handles precise system control, protection functions, and sound processing.

A notable feature is the die-cast fast-linking system with integrated connectors. This allows the two top units to be combined into a single 12-driver column. This allows for quick switching between stereo and mono setups depending on the application, making the system flexible for a variety of stage, room, and sound reinforcement scenarios.

Digital Mixer, Bluetooth, and App Control

The built-in 8-channel digital mixer offers 4 selectable MIC/LINE/INSTRUMENT inputs, 2 stereo LINE inputs, and a Bluetooth interface for audio streaming. Each channel features a 4-band parametric EQ and a fully parametric compressor. The master section offers a 7-band graphic EQ with five user presets, as well as a studio-quality multi-effects processor.

Some parameters can be controlled directly via the user interface, which features a large LCD display and multifunction knobs. Additionally, full wireless control via Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy is possible. An app for Android and iOS tablets is available for this purpose.

Features and Transport

The Proel Session700 column PA system with an 8-channel digital mixer and app control offers 6 combo inputs, a stereo mini-jack input, 2 XLR-M outputs, and 2 Speakon power outputs. The subwoofer features two side handles. Additionally, there is an M20 mounting point on the subwoofer and a 35-mm mounting point on the top unit.

The package includes an M20/35-mm telescopic pole, a 4-conductor Speakon-to-Speakon cable, and a carrying bag for the top units. This design ensures the system is optimized for quick transport and easy setup. The dimensions are 95 x 476 x 121 mm per top unit and 350 x 514 x 500 mm for the subwoofer. The weight is 2.5 kg per top unit, 22 kg for the subwoofer, and 27 kg for the entire system.
