Rode NT USB Mikrofon Product Details
The Rode NT-USB capacitor microphone belongs to the new series of USB capacitor mics. The NT-USB was developed especially for producers of podcasts, ambitious singers and home studios that don’t want to record without the sound quality of a dynamic large diaphragm capacitor microphone.
The body of the NT-USB features a zero-latency stereo headphone monitoring (3.5mm) jack, which allows you to monitor the microphone input in realtime, along with dials to adjust the monitoring level and mix between the computer/iPad audio and the microphone input.
A premium pop-filter is included, which fits onto the base of the mic, positioning the filter the ideal distance from the capsule to minimise plosives (hard ‘B’, ‘T’ or ‘P’ sounds that produce a harsh sound) during singing or speech. Also provided is a high-quality stand mount with industry standard 3/8” thread, desktop tripod stand that allows the NT-USB to sit at a comfortable height on a tabletop, and a pouch for storage of the microphone when not in use.

Frequently asked questions
Question: | Is this microphone suitable for podcasts with several people, or does it pick up too much background noise? |
Answer: | In principle, the condenser capsule of this microphone is sensitive enough to cleanly record even several speakers from shorter distances. In general, however, the further away the speaker is from the microphone, the more background noise will potentially end up on the recording. |
Question: | Can this microphone also be mounted on a free-standing stand or is there a suitable spider for it? |
Answer: | Yes, with the help of the included tripod flange, the microphone can be attached directly to any tripod with 3/8" thread. In addition, the NT USB can also be used with the separately available Rode SMR spider. |
Question: | Can the microphone also be used on tablets? |
Answer: | With an Apple Camera Connection Adapter, the Rode NT USB can also be used on an iPad. |
