Roland V-1HD Video Switcher

The V-1HD is so compact and portable that you can take it with you and use it anywhere. The V-1HD makes it easy for you to connect and switch video cameras, smartphones, computers, tablets, Blu-ray players and other HDMI video sources with a simple push of a button or slide of the T-fader. It supports professional compositing effects such as picture-in-picture, overlay on a background that allows graphics, title overlay or even "green screen" overlay, ideal for corporate news broadcasts or training productions.

For video switching at creative live events, the V-1HD offers advanced video effects to transform video into creative visuals that suit any type of performance. To output your video mix, simply connect the HDMI output to a projector or display at an event, and you can even connect a recorder to record your event or production.

A 12-channel digital audio mixer is included. The V-1HD can mix 4 stereo audio inputs from the 4 HDMI ports, a stereo line level input, and a mic level input. Each channel is equipped with a delay function to synchronize video and audio. The audio tracking function allows the audio to transition in parallel with the video. Reverb and mastering functions to adjust sound quality and volume are also supported. The final audio mix is both integrated into the HDMI output along with the video signal and sent to the stereo audio output jacks. The audio mix is then sent to a broadcast system or recorded to an external device.
