The Sennheiser EW-D ME2 SET (S4-7) is a versatile, digital wireless system for professional speech transmission in lectures, presentations, moderations or theater applications. Equipped with the tried-and-tested ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone, a robust bodypack transmitter in a metal housing and a digital receiver, this system delivers crystal-clear, reliable transmission in the UHF range 630-662 MHz.

Thanks to the digital UHF transmission, the system offers superior range, high interference immunity and a scalable infrastructure for a wide range of applications - from conference rooms to the stage. Thanks to the Smart Assist app, the system can be set up intuitively and made ready for operation in just a few seconds.

Maximum speech intelligibility with ME 2 lavalier microphone

The ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone included in the set has been specially developed for speech. It is unobtrusive, offers excellent speech intelligibility and a high level of positioning error tolerance - ideal for interviews, presentations and speeches, even with changing speakers.

With a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB and a sensitivity of 17 mV/Pa, the microphone ensures that even dynamic voices are picked up precisely - naturally, directly and without interference.

Digital transmission without interference

Thanks to digital UHF transmission, the EW-D ME2 SET is free from the noise, interference and static that can occur with analog systems. The auto-setup function automatically scans the environment for free frequencies and sets up the system with minimal effort - even without prior technical knowledge.

With a latency of just 1.9 ms, the system is also ideally suited for applications where voice synchronization is crucial - such as live streams or video productions.

Flexible, scalable and battery-saving

The system supports up to 90 channels56MHz switching bandwidth - ideal for large conference rooms, event technology or educational facilities. With 2,240 selectable frequencies, it offers maximum flexibility even when operating several radio systems in parallel.

The BA 70 lithium-ion battery pack supplied enables up to 12 hours of operation. Alternatively, the transmitter can also be operated with AA batteries (up to 8 hours). This makes the system particularly suitable for all-day events or changing locations without a reliable power supply.
