The Sennheiser EW-DX 835-S SET (S2-10) is a high-performance, fully digital UHF radio system with two handheld transmitters and dual receivers, designed for demanding applications in the business, education and live sectors. With a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz, intelligent frequency management, AES-256 encryption and full network capability, the EW-DX system sets new standards in terms of user-friendliness, sound quality and system integration.

The set consists of two SKM-S handheld transmitters with mute switch, two MMD 835 microphone capsules (dynamic, cardioid), the EW-DX EM 2-channel rack receiver and two BA 70 battery packs. Whether on stage, at corporate presentations or in educational institutions, this system delivers total control, superior audio quality and a robust, scalable platform for all professional requirements.

Intelligent technology - ready for complex applications

Thanks to the AutoScan function, the system automatically detects free frequencies and distributes them across an equidistant tuning grid. This reliably avoids intermodulation - ideal for use in RF-dense environments. The standard mode allows up to 146 channels, in Link Density Mode (LD) there are even up to 293 channels - with only 300 kHz spacing.

With a latency of just 1.9 ms, the system transmits audio signals with absolutely no delay. The internal digital trimming function enables precise level adjustment on the receiver side - without analog restrictions.

Highest audio quality - without any gain settings

The proprietary SePAC audio codec ensures crystal-clear, interference-free signal transmission with an input dynamic range of 134 dB - eliminating the need for any gain adjustment at the transmitter. This saves time, avoids sources of error and always offers optimum audio quality - even with changing speakers or singers.

The MMD 835 capsules in the set deliver the proven Sennheiser stage sound: assertive, present and clear - ideal for speech, vocals and moderation.

Network-compatible & remote controllable

The EW-DX system is fully network-compatible and can be integrated into existing AV infrastructures via the Sennheiser Control Cockpit, the Wireless Systems Manager (WSM) and third-party media control systems (e.g. Crestron, QSC, Extron) using a plug-in.

In addition, the Smart Assist app enables simple control from up to 25 m away via Bluetooth® Low Energy - perfect for spontaneous adjustments in mobile use.

Robust battery solution & clever design

The two BA 70 battery packs offer an impressive runtime of up to 12 hours. The transmitters have integrated charging contacts for use with the optional CHG 70N charger. Thanks to the E-Ink display, important parameters remain visible even when the transmitter is switched off or the battery is removed.

With the standard capsule connection, the handheld transmitters are also compatible with other capsules from Sennheiser or Neumann - a real plus for individual sound design.
