The Showtec Typhoon 640 is an innovative LED light effect that uses six powerful 40-watt RGBW LEDs directed at a centrally positioned, rotating half-mirror ball. The result: unique, kaleidoscopic lighting effects with a wide beam angle - perfect for clubs, stages, events or rooms with low ceilings.

360° light magic meets modern control

Each of the six LED units also has RGB LED effect strips that can be controlled individually. The rotating mirror ball in the center creates moving light patterns whose speed and direction of rotation can be controlled via DMX. This creates visually impressive effects that can be perfectly integrated into any lighting design.

Silent operation & flexible mounting

Thanks to convection-based cooling, the Typhoon 640 operates almost silently - ideal for installations in quiet environments or sound studios. Thanks to its compact profile and the option of vertical or random mounting, the device can be used flexibly - even with low ceilings.

DMX & standalone - full control included

Whether in standalone mode, via music control or via DMX - the Typhoon 640 offers full control over all functions. It supports 5 DMX modes (4, 16, 31, 36 and 51 channels) and has an intuitive OLED display for easy operation directly on the device.
