SPIRA Guitars stands for guitars that consciously break away from traditional concepts. The X-400 MGR is the perfect example: it combines modern aesthetics with proven materials and technical perfection.

Technical Details of the SPIRA Guitars X-400 MGR Satin Green

The body of the X-400 MGR is made of toasted poplar wood, which ensures a balanced ratio of weight, resonance, and stability. The distinctive offset design improves balance and supports a natural playing posture. The elegant Satin Green finish accentuates the guitar’s modern, minimalist look and gives it a subtle yet striking stage presence.

The neck, crafted from thermally treated Canadian maple, feels comfortable in the hand thanks to its satin-matte finish and offers a smooth, even playing surface—ideal for fast runs, precise chord changes, and complex playing techniques. The Ebony Tech fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and a 14″ fingerboard radius is perfectly suited for technical playing. The 25.5″ scale length ensures tight string tension, a powerful tone, and high tonal stability.

Spira Villain Humbuckers – High-Output with Precision

The X-400 MGR is equipped with two Spira Villain™ high-output humbuckers, which were developed specifically for modern music genres such as progressive metal, hard rock, and djent. With 12k output and ceramic magnets, the pickups deliver an assertive, powerful sound—clear and defined, even at high gain. From heavy riffs to delicate leads, every note remains articulate and present. The HH configuration offers a wide tonal range suitable for various musical styles.

Precision Hardware for Reliable Performance

With locking tuners for excellent tuning stability and a solid bridge with continuous string action, the X-400 MGR is optimally equipped for live and studio use. The combination of precise mechanics, a sturdy construction, and clean electronics ensures that intonation and playability remain consistent in every playing situation. Controls include a volume and a tone knob as well as a 3-way selector switch—intuitive and reliable. The black hardware stylishly complements the green finish and emphasizes the guitar’s modern character.
