Description

Tiptop Audio ZEUS 1200mA Powered Bus Board Product Details

Tiptop Audio ZEUS represents complex and powerful power supply components to built your own Eurorack Modular systems. The complete series consists of ZEUS separate components which together provide various flexible power solutions.

The 1200mA powered bus board is the active component that is connected to a switching power supply and its power to one or more passive bus boards (primarily Tiptop Audio Passive bus boards) sends. Said switching power supply must be purchased separately (tta-tta zeus3a for smaller systems or zeus3b for larger systems).

The standard bus-powered board has no power switch or power socket - this must be purchased separately and soldered to the backplane (a version with power socket and switch the "Powered BusBoard Quick Connect").

The board features a total of 18 bus powered socket for connection of modules, 13 of which are 16-pin connector, such as those found in all Eurorack modules. Five Sockets are designed for Analogue Systems modules.

The bus powered board has an integrated voltage regulator to generate the required modules from some of +5 V! Three LEDs indicate the voltages applied to the bus board +12 V, +5 V and-12V.

Because of the rear-mounted flat connector should I use when installing 10mm spacers.

What You need at least:

1. a high-performance switching power supply that converts AC power to 12V

2. a bus powered board, which takes over the production of stabilized voltages and up to 2400mA (1200mA depending on the +12 V line and 1200mA to 12V) provides. For larger systems, you can expand easily the bus powered passive bus boards. Pull the modules more than 1200mA on any line (either +12 V or-12V), so you need another board powered bus, which in turn can be extended with passive bus boards. per required 2x1200 mA so you need an active bus board.

Features:

  • Power output: max. 1200mA on the +12 V line, max. 1200mA at 12V line and 220mA on the +5 V line
  • Screw connections on the front connectors for flat plug shoes on the back
  • for the following voltages: GND (ground), +12 V,-12V Dimensions (LxH): 39,4 x 6,3 cm
