Description

Vermona DRM1 MKIV Trigger Product Details

The DRM1 MKIV from Vermona in the Trigger variant is an analog drum synthesizer with eight channels tailored to different drum sounds. These include kick, drum, Multi, Snare, Hihat and Clap. There are nine different knobs per channel that provide control over sound character, modulation corrections and volume through various parameters. In addition, all sections are equipped with a single output, which can also be used as an insert with a Y-cable. The sounds of the DRM1 are triggered by freely assignable MIDI notes. triggered. That means with the drum synthesizer the analog trigger impulses can be converted into MIDI messages and output again. In contrast to its predecessor, the MKIV version offers improved frequency ranges of the individual sections, signal-to-noise ratio, switch-on delay so that no crackling occurs when switching on and off, and more connection sockets. In the trigger version 10 additional trigger inputs are available, which control trigger or gate signals of a corresponding sequencer.

The KICK section provides a huge spectrum of different bass drum sounds. DRUM 1 and DRUM 2 include toms, tom toms, metallic percussion sounds, wood blocks, bongos, kick drums and many more. The MULTI channel is about different cowbells, zaps, laser sounds and bongos. The SNARE selection contains all kinds of snares including Rimshots. The two channels HIHAT 1 and HIHAT 2 are equipped with hihats, cymbals and triangles, each with open and closed variants. In the CLAP channel the sounds consist of handclaps of any color. The HIHAT 1 and HIHAT 2 instruments each have two trigger inputs for closed and open hihats.
