Body, Neck, and Construction

The Yamaha Revstar RSE20 Element Series Black E guitar features a Revstar body shape and a chambered mahogany body. These specifications regarding materials and construction are among the instrument’s key features and form the basis of its design. The chambered construction is explicitly noted and gives the model a clearly defined identity within the series. This is complemented by the color black and a gloss polyurethane finish.

The neck is made of three-piece mahogany and is laminated. The neck finish is specified as satin polyurethane. These features complement the body well and make the construction of the Yamaha Revstar RSE20 Element Series Black electric guitar easy to understand. Fingerboard and Playability

A key feature of the Yamaha Revstar RSE20 Element Series Black electric guitar is its rosewood fingerboard. This is complemented by a fingerboard radius of 12" or 304.8 mm. It also features 22 jumbo frets, a scale length of 24.75" (629 mm), a PPS nut, and a nut width of 41.9 mm. Alnico V Humbuckers and Dry Switch

The Yamaha Revstar RSE20 Element Series Black E guitar is equipped with two Alnico V humbuckers. A VH3n humbucker (Alnico V) is used at the bridge, and a VH3b humbucker (Alnico V) at the neck. This pickup combination is one of the guitar’s key technical features and clearly defines its electrical character. Anyone looking for a Revstar with a clearly designated HH pickup configuration will find a precisely tailored solution here.

Controls include 1x Master Volume and 1x Master Tone with a push-pull function for the “Dry Switch.” This is complemented by a 3-way switch. This electronics layout is clearly structured, making the Yamaha Revstar RSE20 Element Series Black E guitar intuitive to operate. The Dry Switch, in particular, is one of this model’s standout features and effectively complements the humbucker configuration.

Hardware and Factory String Set

The Yamaha Revstar RSE20 Element Series Black E guitar is equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar. This feature is one of the explicitly listed hardware characteristics and adds an important component to the instrument’s basic configuration. It also features die-cast tuners and chrome-finished hardware. The 3-ply black pickguard is also listed as a clearly specified feature.

The factory string set is specified as .010–.046. Together with the hardware features and the gloss polyurethane finish, this results in a precisely defined overall technical profile.
