VCM Effects

Most THR VCM effects are based on effects processing from professional Yamaha mixing consoles. For unsurpassed quality and authenticity.

VCM (Virtual MODELING CIRCUITRY)

VCM effects are capable of sound details in a precession mapping, which is beyond the reach of simple digital simulations. Rather than simulate, they provide the true musical performance, which is otherwise only known from analog devices, and this still makes invaluable.

The THR-Series was developed in cooperation with Yamaha's award-winning hi-fi department toward that goal designed to accommodate true high fidelity sound in an innovative guitar amp. THR EDITOR

The THR editor provides comprehensive, computerized editing capabilities for amps and effects. In addition, stand-compressor and noise gate functions.

USB CONNECTION

When playback of the input THR offers the analog auxiliary jack (for example to connect a smartphone) and a USB connection for connecting a computer.

TYPING: METRONOME / HOLD: VOICES

The Tap function allows an easy setting of delay times. The built-in chromatic tuner operates accurately and reliably, and has an easy to read display.
