Yamaha YC73: the stage keyboard with weighted "balanced" hammer action.Designed specifically for the live keyboardist, the Yamaha YC73 delivers a completely redesigned organ with virtual drawbars based on Yamaha's Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM) and combines this with generous real-time control as well as authentic pianos, electric pianos and FM synth sounds.

The YC73 is the ideal model for the keyboardist who wants to cover the widest possible range of sounds. And that with a still compact size, a very comfortable transport weight and direct and intuitive access to all important parameters for sound design. The larger keyboard enables three split zones in MIDI master mode, regardless of whether it is with internal sounds or in conjunction with external sound generators. Another feature that should not be underestimated is that not every keyboard player needs an 88-note keyboard or is used to it from the piano. The "Balanced Hammer Standard" keyboard of the YC73 lies in a pleasant middle ground between the two other keyboard variants.

The integrated audio and MIDI interface also enables direct recording with the included Cubase AI DAW.

Yamaha's vibrant vintage organ sound was created using proprietary Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM). VCM recreates the circuits of vintage analog EQs, compressors and phasers. phasers back to life. VCM technology recreates all the subtle details of the original sound that made the characteristics of the originals famous.
