Specially designed cardioid capsule

The YDM Series microphones are housed in an elegant metal body and feature a specially designed cardioid capsule that captures sound flawlessly and reproduces it with crystal clarity.

Isolator to reduce handling noise

The YDM series microphones are equipped with a proprietary isolator that reduces vibrations and handling noise to a minimum, so you can concentrate fully on your performance.

A refined grip, like an instrument

Inspired by our musical instrument design experts, the YDM Series microphones follow the flowing curves of a wind instrument. The top of the handle is accented with a silver ring, giving it a distinctive design. Not only is the handle beautifully designed, but it has also been optimized through repeated prototype testing to ensure comfortable handling.

Switch lock

The YDM505S model offers an on/off switch for solo gigs, but also features a switch lock so there's no need to worry about users accidentally turning the mic off.

YDM series replacement wire basket

For some performers, mic drops are unavoidable. Whether from epic monologues or mishaps, replacement grills are available separately to keep your mic looking like new.

Accessories

In addition to the mic holder, a 5/8" to 3/8" inch thread adapter and a mic bag are also included.
