The technical basis is 32-bit float recording, which captures the entire dynamic range without clipping. The internal 16 GB memory offers capacity for up to 22 hours of recording in 32-bit float mono. Alternatively, 24-bit mono (29 hours) and dual mono (14 hours) are also available. The IP67-certified design also allows use under water (30 minutes to a depth of 1 meter), while various mounting options keep the recorder firmly in place - on clothing, cameras or other surfaces.

Wireless, app-controlled and versatile

Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth function, the Instamic can also be used as a wireless microphone, for example for live recordings via smartphone or laptop. The Instamic Remote app allows you to control up to ten devices simultaneously, including live monitoring, timecode sync and 3-band EQ. Another highlight is the support for external timecode systems such as Atomos UltraSync Blue or Tentacle Sync E, which ensures professional picture-sound synchronization.

The battery life of up to 4.5 hours is complemented by fast USB-C charging (approx. 1.15 hours). Three LEDs provide reliable information about the battery (green), recording level (red) and memory status (yellow).
