Technical Details: A Wide Range of Lighting Effects Combined in a Compact Package

The Algam Lighting FLORIDABAR-II 4-in-1 Lighting Stand Set combines multiple lighting elements into a single system:

• 2 PAR spotlights, each with 3 x 9W RGB LEDs for vibrant wash effects
• 2 Derby effect spotlights, each with 3 x 3W RGB LEDs for room-filling beams of light
• Strobe effect with 4 x 1W white LEDs for pulsating flashes of light
• Laser projector with 30 mW green (532 nm) and 100 mW red (650 nm) for dynamic beam patterns

All effects are perfectly coordinated and can be operated together or separately. The FLORIDABAR-II offers a wide range of control options: It can run automatically, react to music (built-in microphone), be controlled via DMX (3, 5, 9, or 27 channels), or via IR remote control. The system is also particularly flexible in master/slave mode—ideal for synchronizing multiple units.

A digital display with four control buttons allows for easy navigation through the various functions and settings. DMX input and output are provided via 3-pin XLR connectors, which can be easily integrated into existing lighting systems. Despite its wide range of functions, the maximum power consumption is only 45 watts, making the system extremely energy-efficient.

The entire unit is constructed from a sturdy combination of steel and plastic and weighs just 6.6 kg, including all components (lighting elements, bracket, tripod). The height-adjustable tripod can be set between 1.5 m and 2.5 m, allowing the lighting effects to be optimally adapted to the room height. The included accessories—power cord with Velcro strap, IR remote control, carrying case, and safety components—ensure immediate and hassle-free use.
